generous food portions here. located on busy bergenline ave in north bergen, they offer an extensive menu of tasty peruvian foods. we waited for about 15 minutes for food, but I guess the food was worth it when we saw the heaping poritons. The shrimp in the chaufa (fried rice) was notable, very fresh. we also tried the lomo saltado (beef strips with rice, peppers, tomatoes and rice) and the julienned strips of beef were cut well and full of flavor, served over a bed of fries. must try.

It's my favorite restaurant here in the US. I needed homemade food like that. Prices are good, staff is great and also they are cleaning all the time. Can't wait to go back there!

My favorite Peruvian restaurant, the ceviche is the best, I order out or eat there, so welcoming and friendly. Recommend it to all my friends and family.

Absolutely superb Peruvian food served by very nice folk. We had a trio of ceviche, a huge cauldron of chicken noodle soup (we took home a quart of leftovers. But the best was potatoes w/three cremas. The yellow was good, the red had a touch of spice, and the green was wonderfully earthy. We want to return with a group to explore more of the menu. The service was warm and caring.

Went here for lunch and got seated right away as there were not many people inside. The waiter was nice and the food came out quickly. However the leche de tigre was a bit disappointing it needed more flavor, so I added hot sauce (rocoto) and it was better. The ají de gallina was good and the causa was also good. I will certainly go back but I'll pass on the leche the tigre.
